Irrigation Mainline 225mm/5km

Supply and install 5km mainline HDPE Pipes 225mm with 10 Valves for Al yamama Cement

About Project

Bloom Landscape successfully executed the main irrigation pipeline at Al Yamama Cement, providing a reliable water distribution backbone for the landscape areas within the facility. The project included excavation works extending approximately 5 km, followed by the preparation of a sand bedding layer to protect the pipeline and ensure proper installation. The irrigation network was constructed using 225 mm HDPE pipes, installed using the butt welding method to achieve strong and leak-proof joints. Additionally, 10 isolation valves were strategically installed to control water flow and allow efficient operation and maintenance of the irrigation zones.

Challenges & Solutions

Executing the project within an active mining environment presented logistical and operational challenges, including restricted access, coordination with ongoing site operations, and the transportation of specialized materials to a remote location. To overcome these challenges, Bloom Landscape implemented careful planning and coordination with the site management team, ensuring smooth material delivery and efficient scheduling of construction activities. Strict quality control measures and experienced installation teams ensured that all components of the padel courts were installed accurately and safely.

Project Outcome

Upon completion of the installation, the entire pipeline underwent a comprehensive pressure test to verify the strength and leak-free performance of the system. The successful testing confirmed the reliability and durability of the HDPE main line, after which the project was officially handed over. The completed irrigation infrastructure now provides efficient and controlled water distribution, supporting the landscape areas within Al Yamama Cement and ensuring long-term operational performance.
